I never thought of sunrise as being pencil-coloured. So it is. Reminds me of pulling all-nighters in university, stepping out into a morning that should be a night, like a trespass in time, strange little surge of adrenaline keeping the jet-lag at bay.

ReplyDeleteI am reasonably sure this is sunrise atop Misti near Arequipa in Peru... however, it could have been another mountain b/c I climbed two while there.
