Snow it is. I was struck by how much the snow in Canada resembled the sand in the Emirates. So I trudged around my parents' backyard in -10 C weather, shooting snow pics that looked like sand dune pics.
I was debating between snow or sand...and then I even thought it might be concrete. Great detail in the shadows. By the way, I bundled up yesterday to take some snow shots during our snow day (no work). I don't think it was -10 though. (Although this morning it was -22 without wind chill on my way to work. I miss Mexico.)
