ReplyDeleteThat lower pic is actually Dubai, United Arab Emirates. You can still zip across Dubai Creek in a water-taxi (abra) & see some old-style buildings. The rest of Dubai is either shiny & new or dusty & under construction.
ReplyDeleteCONTEXT: A stencil design sprayed onto a stool in the Architecture building at Cornell. This is just one of the many random designs found all over the campus...there are some on doors, bridges, walls chairs, etc...it was pretty neat to document them, it was like following clues or going on a scavenger hunt.
