Context: A couple years ago I took a trip down to Oaxaca. About an hour away from Oaxaca city is Ocotlan de Morelos. What I love about this state is how it highlights what Mexican culture is. It has an amazing blend of indigenous and colonial culture, amazing culinary culture, folklore and tradition. This small town is popular for its textile work.
