This was taken in the Notre Dame basilica in Montreal during Thanksgiving break 2008. The basilica had a light show 3 nights a week in which they used different lighting set ups to relate the history of the building. This light piece was hanging near the door. If you are ever in Montreal I recommend watching the show.
ReplyDeleteGreat warm/cool contrast Lucia!
ReplyDeleteThe man in Jay's picture looks like he is typing on a laptop, but somehow I don't think that is the case.
The man lived on a farm we had to cut through on our way to the climbing wall in ViƱales, Cuba. Two stops at the farm per day: 1. on the way to climbing to buy some tomatoes (most flavorful tomatoes I have had in years), and 2. on the way back to homestay to buy a pineapple and some cigars - which this man is rolling.
