    Istanbul is full of self-satisfied, rather well-fed semi-stray cats. We arrived the day after Obama left, and a Turkish acquaintance told us this great story: Obama visits the Blue Mosque. The security is unbelieveable: rows of armed military around the mosque, inside the mosque, streets closed off, helicopter above, etc. One of the resident cats strolls through all the security & walks right up to Obama, who leans over to pet it. Front page! Lead story! The Cat gets a whole story!

    Awesome story Joc. We didn't hear about that scandal here.

    I also love that I am not the only person who takes pictures of random cats around my neighborhood and the world. :)
