  1. This is such a quietly beautiful pairing. Isn't Xilitla the nuttiest place? One of Mexico's treasures.

    A master craftsman working on the marble floor of The Cathedral of Siena. He told us that until recently, he had been the only craftsman of his kind in Italy but now he has two apprentices. When we asked him why there were so few people who did this work he said, "For forty years I've been on my knees on the cold marble floors of damp and poorly-lit churches... it's not a very popular way to make a living."

  5. context: Sir Eduard James built what is now called El Castillo de Eduard James. Its a surrealist castle made of cement, these are supposed to be his right hand. They are located at the very entrance of the castle, although here is no official entrance.
