  1. Great news! Pete and Ali have just welcomed their son, Miles Ewan Cuthbert, to the world!

You can check out their very sweet (and very new) boy at: http://web.me.com/cuthbertsontheroad/Site/Updates/Entries/2008/10/7_Welcome_Baby_Cuthbert!.html

  3. Now, back to our regularly scheduled pairing...

This is, without question, the most romantic pairing of our project for me. Thanks to Sofi and Jay for these magical shots.

  4. CONTEXT: One of the most favorite things to do is to eat on a beach with my bare toes digging into the sand beneath my chair. When you combine with the right people at the table and great food... heaven on earth.

SIDEBAR: I sometimes find that a photograph pales in comparison to the reality of the actual vista and sometimes fails to evoke the same feeling as being there. This is one that is better than life b/c we had already eaten before discovering the location and mostly due to the time lapse which makes the water reflections much more pronounced than with mere human vision... too bad we can't change our vision's shutter speed. We can change our aperture...

  5. I don't have much to add here. Just to say that these photographs are both so beautiful. Sofi's lights are like surreal stars in Jay's night sky.

  6. CONTEXT:
Indian restaurant in the middle of Manhattan. Full of lights it was like going into a different country just by walking through the door. The ceiling was covered with red pepper lights, like the Christmas lights but in red pepper shape, I just had to take a picture. It was hard to get a good shot without flash in such a dark space, i took about 20 but in the end I was happy with this one.
